Mandy grew up in the upstate, and attended Clemson University. Upon graduation, she spent 30 years in the Northern VA area. She was a Medical Social Worker & Marketing/ Admissions Director, working in acute & long term care environments. Working with the Walt Whitman Clinic & area hospitals in the DC area, Mandy was instrumental in opening the first HIV+ long term care facility in the DC area in 1993.
Mandy took 10 years off to be a stay at home mom. However, she was always busy being the room mom, girl scout leader &/or soccer team manager for her kids.
When she is not working, she is busy running her custom cookie bakery, Mandy's Cookies on Keowee, and helping her husband in his company. She & her husband have four children & have just welcomed their first grandson.
She loves her hometown & would love to show you why it is a great place to call home.
